Up for auction is a good gas tank, with shrouds, cap, petcock, and the mounting hardware from a 2003 XR70 that Im parting out. I guarantee it to fit the bike I took it off of, and its up to you do determine and confirm any other fitment/interchange. Its used, so it has some cosmetic flaws, but its in good shape, and ready to bolt on and go. All of the threads are in good shape, the tank is clean inside, the petcock works, the shrouds and tank both look good, the cap has a new billet vent on it. I disassembled the parts as shown in the first and last 2 photos to make sure everything was in good shape, and so it would fit in a smaller box for shipping. Sold exactly as pictured and as-is. I bought this bike a while back to use as a pit bike, and to teach my fiancé how to ride; but Ive decided to use another bike I have for both of those tasks. This bike was always kid ridden; not beat on and ridden hard by an adult(the way it would have been if I kept it)... Im a full time Firefighter/paramedic, and an avid motorcycle rider. I part out bikes to help offset what I spend building, riding, and racing them. With that said, Im not a shop, and this is not my main job. I will do everything in my power to ship parts out ASAP, and 95% of the time I get them out within 1 business day of when they are paid for, but because my work schedule(where I work 24hr shifts, and sometimes work 48 and 72hr shifts), and my riding, there may be rare occasions that it may take longer than 24hrs before I get it shipped out. If you are in a rush to get the part, please contact me, and I will do everything I can get it out fast(and if you contact me, I can make special arrangements, and 99% of the time can get it sent out the same day). But if you are somebody who expects everything to be shipped instantly "come hell or high water", please find another seller who will better fit your needs, because I may very well be busy dealing with hell or high water, or just unwinding and riding my motorcycles. Wed, 08 Jul 2009The Nissan GT-R sets a Lap Record at the Nurburgring Nissan has set several quick times at the Nurburgring in the GT-R – much to the consternation of Porsche who have accused Nissan of cheating – and this record lap was set during marathon few days back in April, where the Nissan GT-R set a Nurburgring time of 7:26.7. The figures from Experian, the global information service, demonstrated that 285,962 used Ford Fiestas were sold last year making it Britain’s best selling used car in 2010. Even though overall sales for the Fiesta were lower than in 2009 there was more of a pronounced drop in sales of Vauxhall's Corsa, which came in second place to the Fiesta.
