Hyundai is at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with the Grand Santa Fe debut, the refreshed ix35 and the upgraded i20 WRC. The Geneva Motor Show is probably the most important car show on the planet, and car makers like to have big reveals here. But Hyundai are a bit muted this year, with no big launches planned, although they do have two ‘new’ models on show and a bit of rally glitz too.

The Honda NSX Concept-GT (pictured) is going racing
The new Honda NSX is finally getting close to a production reality, but it won’t actually arrive until 2015, even though order books are now open. But in a somewhat odd move, Honda has revealed another NSX today – the NSX Concept-GT – with which it plans to go racing. And it plans to go racing now, not in 2015 or 2016 when the new NSX is in Honda showrooms.

The Nissan Ellure has today made its world debut at the 2010 LA auto show. Nissan's senior vice president and chief creative officer, Shiro Nakamura states that 'it's not intended as a preview of any upcoming production model' and that 'the Ellure confirms Nissan’s intention to be a strong player in the sedan segment for many years to come'
An interesting u-turn, as Nissan has steadfastly pioneered niche markets over the last decade, whilst turning their back on the traditional sectors. Well, the drivetrain's worth a mention: the Ellure boasts a supercharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder with Intelligent Dual Clutch Control (one motor/two clutch design with lithium-ion battery) and 25 kW electric motor.
