Bugatti Veyron L’Edition Centenaire – first photo
Sun, 26 Apr 2009Bugatti L'Edition Centenaire at Villa D'Este [ad#ad-1] We told you a couple of days ago about the latest in a long list of Bugatti Veyron special editions – The Bugatti Veyron L’Edition Centenaire. Well, all we could really show you then was a scan of the brochure for the car. After all, Bugatti wanted to keep the car secret prior to its showing at this weekend’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Cernobbio, situated rather prettily by Lake Como, and hadn’t issued any pictures.
Mazda RX-8 – Just a few left
Fri, 27 Aug 2010The Mazda RX-8 - fewer than 100 RHD cars left In an email that looked suspiciously like a warning from QVC that their latest pitched offering really is being gobbled up quickly, and you’ll have to pick up the phone NOW to secure their latest life-changing bit of tat, Mazda inform us that stocks of the Mazda RX-8 are down to the last knockings. We reported a bit back that the RX-8 was to make its way to the great scrapyard in the sky, another victim of the increasingly strict Euro emissions regulations - Euro 5 coming in to play in January 2011. So although the RX-8 will continue for now in some parts of the world, production in Hiroshima has ended for the UK and Europe.
CONFIRMED: McLaren P13 will arrive in 2015 to take on Porsche 911 & Audi R8
Sat, 16 Nov 2013McLaren has confirmed the McLaren P13 will arrive in 2015. The original plan for McLaren’s new range of supercars was that the 458-bashing 12C would arrive first (which it did) followed by a more affordable mid-engined car – think nearer £100k than £200k – to mop up sales from the Porsche 911 and Audi R8. But McLaren decided they should get the P1 out before the P13 so they could give their dealer network a nice halo model, and go head-to-head with LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 Spyder.
