VW CrossBlue concept (2013) first official pictures
Mon, 14 Jan 2013This is Volkswagen's next SUV, just revealed at the 2013 Detroit motor show. Called the CrossBlue, it's a 'mid-sized' six-seat SUV aimed specifically at the American market. Yet judging by these images, and to these European eyes, there doesn’t seem to be much ‘mid-sized’ about it – it's a mammoth five metres long, coming in at 200mm longer than a VW Touareg.
Bentley SUV: first picture revealed
Wed, 19 Mar 2014Bentley has revealed the first official image of its new SUV, which is due to go on sale in 2016. Although the new car is effectively set to rival the upper end of the Range Rover model line-up, Bentley is keen to emphasise the new SUV’s exclusivity, saying that it will be the most luxurious and powerful SUV on the market. Speaking at a press conference in London today, Dr Wolfgang Schreiber, chairman and chief executive at Bentley Motors, said: “It will create a completely new segment in the SUV market.” First revealed as the EXP 9 F concept car back at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012, the new SUV will be crucial to Bentley as it looks to increase its sales over the next few years.
Mercedes-Benz unveils the SLS AMG GT Final Edition
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Mercedes calls it the grand finale, saying the SLS AMG GT Final Edition brings the SLS AMG GT lineup to an end. The car is being shown simultaneously at the LA and Tokyo motor shows. Just 350 will be built, each numbered on the center console.
