2013 Ford Mondeo: Paris 2012

Sat, 29 Sep 2012

Ford has given the new Mondeo its first public outing at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and it looks a good effort. But the new 2013 Ford Mondeo no longer has the advantage of being a default buy for families, so Ford are working hard to make the Mondeo stand out from the mainstream offerings in the C/D segment by making it appear to more ‘Premium’ than just a mere Ford. GQbyCitroen unveiled in London

Wed, 10 Mar 2010

Two days after unveiling the Survolt and DS High Rider concepts at the Geneva motor show, Citroen last week pulled off a rare surprise by unveiling the GQbyCitroen - its third concept in three days. Instigated around a year ago, the project is a result of GQ Magazine's editor Dylan Jones questioning what his readers' ideal car might look like, and subsequently being put in touch with Citroen's Mark Lloyd, design manager for this project. The concept is a 4.5m long shooting break, based on the C4 platform.

Ford's South American design studio in Camaçari, Brazil, has already completed two 'One Ford' global projects, the EcoSport crossover, and the Ka compact. But the replacement for the Troller T4, a basic 4x4 solely for the Brazilian market, has presented a different challenge to the design team led by Joao Marcos Ramos. In 1994, Troller began building tough rally-raid 4x4s for local motor sport events.
