Although we’ve been looking at the Jaguar F-Type Roadster (albeit with a black and white camouflage paint job) since April, it doesn’t officially arrive until Paris next month. But Jaguar has learnt that the Interwebs like a constant drip of new information on hotly anticipated cars, so they’ve dropped a new video for the F-Type focussing on its performance.

Today’s news, however, applies to Volvos on both sides of the Pond, with a new top-end S80 being revealed – the Volvo S80 Executive – and a butch take on the V70 – the Volvo V70 R-Design.

A record 1.18m cars, or 77 percent of production, were sent overseas. Britain’s record year for car production was 1972, when 1.9m cars were produced.
