Tue, 27 Aug 2013Audi has revealed prices for the new S3 Sportback ahead of its arrival in September. The BMW M135i and Mercedes A45 AMG rival starts at £31,260 for the six-speed manual, but you’ll want to pay an extra £1480 and get the six-speed twin-clutch S-tronic 'box that helps the five-door version of Audi’s 296bhp Quattro hot hatch see off 0 to 62mph in 4.9sec. How does it compare to its closest rivals?
2015 Subaru WRX and STI prices revealed
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Subaru enthusiasts will be able to get into a 2015 WRX starting at a base price of $27,090, including destination, for the standard six-speed manual model. That's a bit more than the 2014 model, which started at $26,790, but with Subaru’s entirely new platform, we’d like to think the extra $300 is worth it. This 2015 WRX will sport a 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo flat-four engine under the hood, making 268 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque.
Audi Sport quattro laserlight concept heading for 2014 CES
Thu, 02 Jan 2014Audi Sport quattro laserlight concept heading for 2014 CES The Consumer Electric Show (CES) in Las Vegas is rapidly turning in to a showcase for some of latest electronic gizmos on cars, and the 2014 Show will see a new version of the Audi Sport Quattro Concept complete with Laser Lights. The Sport Quattro comes with a pair of low-profile trapezoidal elements, with the outer one generating the more familiar matrix LEDs for low beam whilst the inner one laser light for high beam, which offers three times the luminosity of LED high beam and can light up the road for 500 metres ahead. Apart from the clever laser headlights, the Sport Quattro Concept seems to be the same as the one Audi revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, apart from a new paint job in Plasma Red and the laser lights.
