£110BN price tag put on Deadly accidents by Road Safety Body

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

A NEW report commissioned by a parliamentary safety group claims that deaths and serious injuries on the roads are likely to cost society £110 billion in the years to 2030. According to the Parliamentary Advisory Committee for Transport Safety (Pacts), the total of those killed or seriously injured (KSIs) over this period is expected to be around a third of a million. These figures are expected despite the report predicting a dip in KSIs and slight injuries by 2030 compared with figures for 2012.

Lamborghini Jota spotted

Sun, 29 Aug 2010

The Lamborghini Jota snapped on the Autobahn The last news we had on the Lamborghini Jota - Lambo’s replacement for the now quite ancient Murcielago – was a pointless tease for the Jota sent to us in July by Lamborghini with a photo of a Lamborghini bonnet in half shadow replete with Lamborghini badge. We’ve been reporting on the Jota for quite some time (and on the halo Lamborghini we expect it to spawn – the Lamborghini Urus) so there are likely no huge surprises – except just how it’s going to look.

Nissan at the Paris motor show 2008

This cool little city car’s name literally translates as ‘new view’ and it’s Nissan’s view of urban transportation in 2015. Think of it as the company’s electric rival to the Toyota iQ.
