DESCRIPTION This instrument panel / cluster (without tachometer) was pulled out of a wrecked 2004 Chevrolet Express 2500 (van) with approximately 156,000 miles. I'm sure it will fit more than just this year/make/model, but can't verify what those vehicles are. The photos are of the actual panel / cluster. I'm not sure what if any programing is needed to put it in another vehicle, but if the VIN is needed I can supply it. Cadillac ATS and Tesla Model S make final five in Innovation By Design Award's 'Transportation' category
Fri, 27 Sep 2013Cadillac's ATS and the Tesla Model S are among the five finalists bidding to win the ‘Transportation' category at this year's Innovation by Design Awards, which celebrates groundbreaking designs from the past year. Established last year by design magazine Fast Company, the awards consist of eight different categories – 2D Design, Products, Interactive Experience, Transportation, Spaces, Social Good, Concepts and Student Design – and this year saw over 1,200 submissions from all over the world, from corporations all the way down to individuals' designs. After a jury of 24 experts from all design disciplines – including J Mays, Ford's vice president of design and chief creative officer – whittled them down to just 54 designs, the Cadillac ATS and the Tesla Model S are battling for their category award against three other designs from 2013.
Senate considers more funds for cash-for-clunkers program

A plan to add $2 billion to the fund passed the House and is being considered by the Senate, where is appears to have support, Reuters reports. The initial $1 billion clunkers outlay is nearly exhausted.

By way of comparison, Ford UK only sold 2200 previous-generation Focus RS models in two whole years. According to Ford, 40 percent of customers have requested the Electric Green paint (pictured in CAR's exclusive photoshoot above), while Frozen White and Electric Blue have also been popular choices. There’s been no word on ASBO Orange just yet… As well as the choice of colour, punters can spec a Lux pack, a premium sat-nav system and leather, though we’d recommend sticking with the standard trim on the excellent Recaros.
