Merdad vision of the Range Rover Evoque – the Evoque Mer-Nazz
Tue, 25 Oct 2011The Merdad Evoque Mer-Nazz We’re already starting to see the first efforts of the pimpers, tuners, modders and customisers on the new Range Rover Evoque surfacing, and the latest is the Merdad Evoque Mer-Nazz Regular readers with good memories will remember Merdad as the man unfortunate enough to be the UK arm of the Gemballa operation when everything went wrong for Uwe Gemballa. That meant the end of Gemballa in the UK, but Merdad has bounced back with his now eponymous company to create extreme cars for those with tastes for more unsubtle forms of car customisation. Vauxhall Astra VXR (2012) gets 282bhp + new GTC photos
Fri, 24 Sep 2010Astra GTC Concept Paris Vauxhall sneaked us a peek at the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR a couple of weeks ago – slightly titivated and called the Astra GTC Concept admittedly – but the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR none the less. But Vauxhall has decided to throw a little more out there, so we get images of the interior and some firm (ish) news on the oily bits.
Mercedes F800 Style Concept: 2011 Mercedes CLS
Sat, 20 Feb 2010The Mercedes F800 Concept will be at Geneva and previews the 2011/2012 Mercedes CLS One of the biggest style successes in the car world in the last decade has been the four-door swoopy-coupe. And the whole genre started life – at least in a mainstream way – with the launch of the Mercedes CLS in 1994. It was Mercedes’ return to the ‘Executive Coupe’ market after a ten year gap (the W124 version of the E-Class Coupe) but broke new ground with its four-door configuration in a coupe body.
