Porsche Boxster and Cayman updates for 2009

The world’s most successful car company, Porsche, has announced upgrades for both its Boxster and Cayman models. The updated 2009 Porsche Cayman New engines, revised suspension and the magnificent PDK gearbox, make these far more than just cosmetic upgrades. These are real improvements, and make the Boxster and Cayman not just more powerful, but actually more economical.

“Mad Max: Fury Road” comes out in 2015 with Tom Hardy (Bane, "The Dark Knight Rises") playing Max Rockatansky in the wasteland that used to be the Australian outback. Lucky for us, that means a demolition-soaked, open-world, off-road-style car game is on the way, too. We checked out the trailer on Friday for the "Mad Max" video game, which has been delayed until 2015, and found that it hits all the right buttons.

Concept Car of the Week: Hyundai HCD-1 (1992)

After a difficult start to the '80s, Hyundai thought of a new strategy to penetrate the American market and to compete with the industry leaders – Japanese manufacturers such as Toyota being the primary target. It came back in 1990 and set up the Hyundai California Design Center to develop cars just for 'Uncle Sam'. The center began with projects such as the Tiburon coupé and the Santa Fe off-roader, both being named after American cities.
