Chip Foose returns to Disney's Car Masters Weekend
Wed, 12 Jun 2013Automotive designer Chip Foose will return to this year's Car Masters Weekend at Downtown Disney on 15-16 June. Foose, who is also a hot rod shop owner, fabricator and star of the reality TV series Overhaulin' on Velocity, has created pieces of original artwork featuring landmarks from Walt Disney World Resort, finished in his signature marker style. Works by Foose were put on display last year in Disney California Adventure's Car's Land attraction.
Reports that General Motors will sell Opel dismissed as 'nonsense'
Thu, 09 Jun 2011German press reports that General Motors Co. is putting its European unit Opel/Vauxhall up for sale were dismissed as speculation by the division and as "nonsense" by a German state with an Opel factory. The magazines Auto Bild and Spiegel reported that GM is considering putting Opel up for sale as management is losing confidence that its European arm will return to profitability.

Thu, 10 Apr 2014The Peugeot Exalt Concept (pictured) now officially revealed We had the first photo of the Peugeot Exalt Concept earlier in the week, but now Peugeot has caught up with that reveal and released a gallery of photos of the Exalt and details too. With strong design hints from Peugeot’s Onyx Concept – like the long bonnet, short overhangs, bold wheel-arches and crisp lines – the Exalt appears to be a five-door hatch even though it looks like a four-door swoopy coupe. Peugeot has hand-made the bare metal body panels of the Exalt and covered it in part with a ‘Shark Skin’ material which is said to improve aerodynamics and fuel consumption.
