Cadillac has revealed its Elmiraj grand coupé concept, which showcases its plans for its next-generation flagship sports models. The four-seater concept – which measures in at 5,207mm long, 1,930mm wide and 1,397mm high – was designed at General Motors' advanced design studio in North Hollywood, California, under the direction of Frank Saucedo and is an evolution of last year's Cien concept. Aston Martin has released this rendering of its new V12 Zagato racer, which will compete at the Nurburgring this summer. The 2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato made its world debut at the Villa D'Este concours d'elegance at the weekend, where it won the Concorso d’Eleganza Design Award for Concept Cars and Prototypes. Production versions of the BMW 7 Series & X6 ActiveHybrid will show at Frankfurt The Concepts for the ActiveHybrids were originally shown in 2008, and the production models are expected to be pretty much the same. They are in effect ‘Mild’ Hybrids, using a 20hp electric motor – with an additional 155lb/ft of torque – to add efficiency to the 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8.
