“This OEM engine control computer came from a 2005 Ford Escape 3.0L V6 that was parted out due to front end accident damage. You will need to program your key to this computer for your vehicle to start. There were no fault codes stored in this ECU. OEM ECM part # 5L8A-12A650-LG. Please ensure that you follow the TSB Ford has released for the engine misfire issue which leads to a damaged ECM. You must follow this TSB or you will risk damaging this ECM as well. It includes installing new OEM coils, spark plugs and having a dealer reflash. The warranty on this ECM is contingent on following the proper procedure spelled out by the Ford technical service bulletin which means proof of following the procedure will have to be provided by a professional installer. Please refer to the closeup photos to verify condition and match to your application.”
