Volkswagen acquires Italdesign-Giugiaro
Tue, 25 May 2010The Volkswagen Group and Italdesign-Giugiaro S.p.A. today announced the next step in their successful cooperation. The Volkswagen Group will take a 90.1 percent stake in Italdesign, including the brand name rights and patents.
University of Cincinnati 2008
Fri, 15 Aug 2008Students in the Transportation Design track at the University of Cincinnati recently presented their visions for the future of transport. Most of the students were asked to envision a vehicle for use in the year 2030 in a studio course sponsored by General Motors; a brief which asked students to push the design potential of the Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra pickup truck or the Chevy Tahoe/GMC Yukon SUVs. Two graduating students also presented their visions for the automotive future, using the Volkswagen and Saturn brands as their launching pad.
Two new Aston Martin models to debut at New York auto show

At $99,900, the Vantage GT becomes the lowest-price option in the Aston Martin lineup. With a 430-hp V8, a 190-mph top speed and some seriously attractive bodywork, the budget model could prove tempting to Porsche 911 buyers.
