CES: Mercedes-Benz boss talks technology
Fri, 13 Jan 2012Mercedes-Benz boss Dieter Zetsche characteristically seemed to enjoy his status as a car guy amid the computer nerds at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. “I just came from Detroit yesterday, where some people consider consumer electronics to be a mere accessory to the car, and now I am here at CES where some people think the car is a mere accessory to the consumer electronics,” he said in a keynote speech on Tuesday at the event. Zetsche introduced mbrace2, the second generation of the Mercedes-Benz mbrace (pronounced “embrace”) system.
Mazda Takeri concept
Tue, 25 Oct 2011Mazda has released pictures of the Takeri concept ahead of the car's unveiling at the forthcoming Tokyo motor show. The Takeri's DRG is dominated by the now familiar large Mazda grille, itself rimmed by a silver section that intersects the lamp graphic.
McLaren P1 Concept is 97% production design (video)

The fac t that the P1 will stay faithful to the concept’s design already seemed evident after we had spy photos of the P1 visiting a McLaren supplier in Norfolk recently (and spy video of the P1 too), where we struggled to find anything different from the concept cars.
