This is an original remote keyless entry produced by the factory.  It works on the 2005 SUBARU FORESTER, IMPREZA, & OUTBACK,                       all models with factory remote keyless entry.  

This remote can be programmed to your vehicle by you.  For instructions, go to your favorite search engine and put in keywords like "program....your....remote" and you will find them.
