Diablosport MAFia (05-10 All) FEATURES No more "pegging" Eight custom settings for all horsepower ranges Supports up to 800 horsepower Plug and Play - no cutting required Works with stock and aftermarket MAF's Fits all 2005 to 2010 Mustangs DESCRIPTION No More Pegging. The Diablosport "MAFia" MAF Interface Adapter is perfect for applications where the stock mass air meter "pegs" due to increased air flow. When the MAF sensor reaches 5 volts, it "pegs the meter" maxing out the signal, preventing you from making peak horse power at higher RPMs, but the MAFia extends this signal allowing your Mustang to make up to 800 RWHP without "pegging the meter". Custom Settings. Featuring eight preset custom settings, the Diablosport "MAFia" MAF Interface Adapter is perfect for all horsepower ranges, from street/strip car calibrations all the way up to 800 plus horsepower race cars. Tune Required Settings. Settings 2 through 6 on the MAFia modulate the signal from the MAF to the computer to a point where a custom tune is required to properly allow these changes to be applied to the computer. Settings 0, 1 and 7 modulate the signal from the MAF to the computer, but not to the point where a custom tune is required. Please contact one of our Bama Tuning Specialists for help in determining your specific needs. Application. The Diablosport MAFia Mass Air Flow Calibrator is a direct plug and play upgrade adapter for all 2005 to 2010 Mustangs, including the V6 GT, Bullitt and Shelby GT500 models with either a factory or aftermarket MAF sensor. Mercedes planning more Coupe SUVs to add to the BMW X6 challenging MLC
Wed, 30 Apr 2014The Mercedes Concept Coupe SUV (pictured) looks to be just the first in a range of Coupe SUVs No one can be in any doubt that the Mercedes Concept Coupe SUV we saw revealed at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this month will turn in to a ‘coupe’ version of the ML, probably as the Mercedes MLC. What’s also clear is that the MLC is designed to steal a chunk of the market BMW has created for big, lifestyle, coupe SUVs with the X6; take away the Mercedes badge and the Concept Coupe SUV could preview the next generation X6. But with BMW taking their X6 formula and applying it to the X3 – creating the X6 on a boil-wash X4 – Mercedes aren’t going to sit back and let BMW create another lifestyle coupe SUV without responding.
V6 dropped for redesigned Mazda 6 sedan
Wed, 25 Apr 2012Mazda will drop the V6 engine from the Mazda 6 lineup, the company told Automotive News. Instead, the redesigned Mazda 6 will use powertrains from Mazda's Skyactiv technology bin, including direct-injection four-cylinder engines and ultra-efficient transmissions. “We believe that the balance of fuel economy and power that Skyactiv offers is what customers want,” a Mazda spokesman said.
BMW Alpina D3 BiTurbo – a great diesel
Mon, 16 Mar 2009The BMW Alpina D3 BiTurbo - a brilliant, quick and economical everyday drive Alpina has turned out some stunning versions of the BMW range over the years (and some not so stunning – their 8 Series springs to mind) and they fill a gap that is either not profitable in small volume for BMW or, in some cases, a hole that BMW hasn’t plugged. And this one is a good hole to fill with the BMW Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo, a 3 Series diesel with the heart of a hot hatch. Alpina has taken the engine out of the 1 Series 123d and given it a boost to 240bhp, in the process dropping the 0-60 time to a very creditable 6.9 seconds But it’s not the sprint that count, but the way this peppy diesel unit delivers it.
