Designed for supercharged applications that run at higher temperatures and require additional cooling. Tank features increased capacity & can be filled with dry ice, or ice for the track or dyno. Fabricated aluminum for strength. Tank can be polished, chromed, powder coated, or left as is for a race look. Features a fuel cell style filler cap with filtered outlet strainer. *Tank will not fit in the stock location due to extra capacity, and must be relocated; will fit in the stock battery location. Transportation Design students at Detroit's College for Creative Studies recently presented the results of a project sponsored by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). The unveiling of the students' concept vehicles is the finale of the 16th annual AISI/CCS Summer Internship Program that set the transportation design students the task of designing functional, innovative 'Hollywood-inspired' vehicles that integrate environmental responsibility, cost efficiency and innovative steel materials. "The AISI/CCS summer internship was created to inspire a new generation of automotive designers to develop alternative fuel vehicles, lightweight steel structures and a flexible platform base, all of which are real goals for today's automotive product developers," said Brian Aranha, vice president of commercial for Dofasco Inc.

Corvette revives Grand Sport name for 2010 model

The legendary Grand Sport name is being revived for the 2010 Corvette, Chevrolet said on Friday. The 2010 Grand Sport lets Corvette buyers give the two-seater a meaner look and tighter suspension without going all the way to the Z06 model. And it lets you do this with the options of an automatic transmission and folding top, if you choose.
