Here is a pair of factory GM produced outside door handles for a 2005-2013 Chevrolet Corvette. My Brother-In-Law had ordered these for his Corvette then passed away. New in the box and in the plastic wrappers and never installed. These look to be raw unpainted black or charcoal plastic. Better get them while you can!! Ford Model A New York-to-LA record attempt ends in breakdown
Wed, 16 Oct 2013The New York-to-LA 60-hour record attempt in a 1930 Ford Model A came to an end just outside of Amarillo, Tex., on Tuesday afternoon. After having covered more than 1,700 miles with little incident, aside from an overheating issue in Zanesville, Ohio, that ate up several hours, the car driven by Australians Rod Wade and Michael Flanders suffered a broken crankshaft. The duo planned to set a new record for a pre-war car by driving in their 1930 Ford Model A, nicknamed "Tudor Rose," across the U.S.
Chrysler loses 'Imported from Detroit' lawsuit
Wed, 29 Jun 2011A federal judge today denied a motion by Chrysler Group LLC to bar use of its "Imported from Detroit" commercial tag line by clothier Pure Detroit, which in turn has formally opposed Chrysler's bid to trademark the phrase. U.S. District Judge Arthur Tarnow ruled that Chrysler's request didn't show that it would suffer irreparable harm or that it had a strong likelihood of winning its case.
2011 Ford Super Duty pickup gets price hike, content upgrade
Fri, 19 Feb 2010Ford Motor Co.'s redesigned 2011 Super Duty pickup will carry a base sticker price higher than its predecessor but will include upgraded content, such as a new six-speed transmission. Ford also will offer its first diesel V8 engine designed in-house. The pickup, which goes on sale this spring, starts at $28,995, according to a dealer and a source familiar with the program.
