This is a powerhead off a 2005 25 hp Mercury bigfoot outboard (4 stroke). Model 1F25213DD. This was running when removed, but one cylinder tested low for compression, so being sold as is. Comes with flywheel and stator. Turns over smoothly, no obvious signs of any damage to cylinders. Believe rings may be stuck on one piston. Please let me know if you have any questions.

SoCal Speed shop wins AMBR award as hod-rodding returns to its roots
Mon, 30 Jan 2012In a competition that "took hot-rodding back to its SoCal roots," the SoCal Speed Shop--the entity founded by original hot-rod hero Alex Xydias and now helmed by Pete Chapouris--finally won the AMBR. That's AMBR, as in, America's Most Beautiful Roadster, the most sought-after title in all of hot-rodding and the crowning glory of the Grand National Roadster Show. There is that competition at the Detroit Autorama that hands out the Ridler Award, but that is open to all manner of kustom kars.
Mitsubishi revamps U.S. strategy
Mon, 24 Jan 2011Mitsubishi plans a different U.S. model lineup and a new production strategy for its assembly plant in Normal, Ill., as it shifts emphasis away from regionally focused vehicles to global small cars, hybrids and electrics. Shinichi Kurihara, CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North America, says the company will launch four new models in the United States within three years, as four slow-selling U.S.-built vehicles are phased out of production by 2014.
