THIS IS A 6 CYL ,TWO STROKE , DIRECT FUEL INJECTED, OIL INJECTED OUTBOARD WITH POWER TRIM AND TILT. THESE HPDI MOTORS ARE EXTREMELY POWERFUL AND RELIABLE.

THIS MOTOR WAS ACQUIRED LOCALLY. IT CAME INTO AS A RUNNING TRADE IN TOWARDS A NEW F300 YAMAHA. IT WAS ON A SEACRAFT AND IT HAS ONLY 523 HOURS. 

 MECHANICALLY YOU COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE. COMPRESSION WAS AT 130-135 PER CYLINDER. EACH FIRES RIGHT UP, PUMPS GOOD WATER , IDLE CRISP AND SOUNDS EXCELLENT WHEN YOU RAP THE THROTTLE.

COSMETICALLY IT LOOKS GREAT. THE PAINT WAS SUN FADED WERE FADED SO WE SHOT IT WITH TWO STAGE EPOXY AND APPLIED NEW DECALS. THE POWERHEAD IS VERY CLEAN AND THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE MOTOR WILL MAKE THE NEW OWNER PROUD.

Developed by General Motors Design in Brazil, the concept represents a potential new segment for the auto giant in the emerging Latin American market. Lotus evolves with moving art

WITH VIDEO -- With five new concepts dotting its stand at the Paris motor show, Lotus demonstrated that it knows a bit about metamorphosis. Now, the automaker has collaborated with French artist Gerard Rancinan and writer Caroline Gaudriault for a moving art display for a VIP event in Los Angeles. Rancinan specializes in art of the human form while Gaudriault is a journalist by trade who has worked in Japan, Australia and France.

Luc Donckerwolke has been named Design Director of Bentley in the latest round of moves within the Volkswagen group, replacing Dirk van Braeckel. Donckerwolke moves from Head of VW Advanced Design, a post he has held for little over a year. He is perhaps most renowned for his work at Lamborghini, overseeing the designs of both the Gallardo and Murcielago – two of the most successful and enduring Lamborghinis ever – during his time in Sant'Agata.
