Tue, 13 Oct 2009By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 13 October 2009 09:38 Audi top brass last night outlined plans for the 2010 launch of the new Audi A1 family, including a whole range of A1 hatchbacks and potentially A1 estates, convertibles and small 4x4s. The Audi A1 will be positioned slap bang against BMW’s burgeoning Mini family when UK sales begin in autumn 2010, priced from around £11,000. The new A1 three-door hatch will be unveiled first at the 2010 Geneva motor show, with continental sales kicking off next summer.

Toyota has a stand full of cars to offer at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, with the European debut of the GT 86, the Yaris Hybrid, and the world debut of a new concept – the FT-Bh Concept. We already know the price of the Toyota GT 86 – a starting point of £25k – and we’ve seen the photos, so now all that’s left is to see the GT 86 in the flesh.

Meet the AMG Vision Gran Turismo, an impossibly outlandish 300SL-inspired supercar that’s been created in partnership with Gran Turismo video game makers Polyphony Inc. The Vision GT will be a playable car in the latest release in the franchise, Gran Turismo 6, along with several as yet unknown concepts from other major carmakers.
