2012 Honda Civic faces limited recall for possible fuel leak
Fri, 20 May 2011Honda is recalling 1,156 copies of the redesigned 2012 Civic because of a potential fuel leak. A mechanical seal in the fuel line on some vehicles was misplaced during assembly, leaving a gap where two segments of pipe attach and allowing for the potential of leakage. No injuries or fires have been reported in relation to the glitch, and most of the affected vehicles are still in inventory and will be fixed before going up for sale.

But just as we did in 2009, we find the 2011 Women’s World Car of the Year Award winners to be in accord with what any panel of knowledgeable car bods would vote for, with the wonderful Citroen DS3 and the exceptional BMW 5-Series tying as winners.
New Lotus Esprit still on schedule
Sun, 10 May 2009The new Lotus Esprit - on schedule for launch in 2011 or 2012 The next Elise will probably be a development of the existing car, rather than anything radical and new. But the Esprit will be an all new V8 based on the new Evora chassis. It will be longer and wider than the Evora, but will still feature a mid-mounted engine and, in all probability, come as a convertible in time.
