Renderings hint at 2015 Ford Mustang appearance
Tue, 15 Oct 2013We're still waiting to see what the 2015 Ford Mustang will look like. Spy shots only offer glimpses of undisguised sheetmetal between pieces of heavy camouflage, so until the debut, this set of renderings that appeared on Mustang enthusiast forum Mustang6G.com is the next best thing to an official reveal. Mustang6G forum member chazcron is responsible for the images, which are said to have been built from the growing number of Mustang spy shots circulating the Web.
Volvo S60 R-Design won on Facebook by ‘The Lake District’
Wed, 03 Aug 2011Volvo Greatest Drive Winner – The Lake District You may remember we reported in June that Volvo had gone slightly bonkers and decided to give away a brand spanking new S60 to whoever submitted the ‘Greatest Drive’ on Facebook; the route that offered not just great scenery but a great driving experience too. And Volvo didn’t skimp on the competition, with not just an astonishingly good prize but also the services of Robert Llewellyn to drive an S60 round the three routes initially voted the best (curious, that – we didn’t know Bobby could drive a car without an electric motor), with videos posted so Volvo’s Facebook fans could make a proper decision on what really was the ‘Greatest Drive’. And the winner was ‘The Lake District’.
Audi Urban Future Awards 2010 - Phase 2
Thu, 16 Sep 2010Imagine a utopia where digital technology allows for an uninterrupted traffic flow of autonomously driven pay-as-you-go ‘taxis' that liberate the urban landscape from the unnecessary clutter of road signs, traffic lights, parked vehicles and the pollution caused by street lights. This was the winning proposal from Berlin architect J Mayer H who has won the Audi Urban Future Awards. In this visionary cityscape for 2030, the car will transform from being a machine for maneuvering in traffic to a sensorial experience machine – the opened up urban space allowing its inhabitants to appreciate buildings and other monuments overshadowed by sheer traffic and its support systems.
