Hyundai has released the first photos of its Sonata Transform sedan, one of the most important vehicles in the carmaker's lineup. This is its first major facelift since it was launched in 2004. The new design is a departure from its predecessor and the styling language has shifted from what was geometrical to a more organic and softer form, with rounder bumper surfaces and softer edges at the radiator grille and around the headlamps.

Hartmut Warkuss to receive 2014 EyesOn Design Catalyst Award

Hartmut Warkuss, former head of Volkswagen Design, will be awarded the 2014 Catalyst Award by EyesOn Design at next week's North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Warkuss, who is credited with overseeing the design of the Bugatti Veyron, the VW Concept (new Beetle) and the Audi TT Concept, will be presented with the award by Peter Schreyer, Hyundai's president and chief design officer and the 2014 recipient of the EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award. Brabus tunes the M-class

German go-fast tuner Brabus has revealed an updated Mercedes-Benz M-class tuning kit, including a wide body, custom wheels and suspension and engine modifications across the line. The Widestar kit for the ML includes new fender flares and rocker panels, giving it a low, menacing stance. The rear bumper integrates the exhaust tips, and a new front spoiler adds four auxiliary daytime running lights.
