UK electric car sales hit record high
Tue, 12 Nov 2013While electric cars may not have taken off as quickly as the likes of Renault and Nissan had hoped, the latest figures from the government’s £5,000 electric car grant scheme show that sales have leapt 25% in the last quarter. A total of 1,149 electric cars were registered in Q3, not only a 25% improvement over Q2, but the most successful quarter since the government scheme began back in January 2011, indicating that consumers are starting to understand the technology and its limitations rather better. Thu, 17 Apr 2014Maserati unveiled the GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition at the New York auto show this week, following up the successful debut of the Alfieri concept a month ago at the Geneva motor show. The GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition, created as part of Maserati's 100th anniversary celebrations this year, will be available both in coupe and convertible form. The Maserati GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition coupe and convertible will be powered by the same 4.7-liter V8 engine found in the MC Stradale, on which the Centennial is based.
