This is the high-voltage inverter from a 2005 Toyota Prius. It fits Prius models from 2004 to 2009, and has the Toyota part number G9200-47111.
This was purchased from a local wrecking yard, and came from a 2005 Prius with only rear-end damage. I had planned on installing it myself, but decided it was too difficult for me, and could not find a (reputable) auto shop that would install a customer-provided part. |

Tue, 28 Jun 20112011 Jeep Grand Cherokee UK - Diesel only Interestingly, the pile of blurb we got in from Jeep UK on the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee made the assertion that Jeep “…invented the premium SUV (sport-utility vehicle) segment with the introduction of the Jeep Grand Cherokee.” Really? Still, we have a soft-spot for the big Yank-Tank that is the Jeep Grand Cherokee so we’ll put that statement down to nothing more than a bit of PR hubris, rather than a genuine claim. Much of what we know already about the new Grand Cherokee since it was revealed over a year ago remains unchanged with its arrival in the UK.
Opel Ampera Full Reveal
Mon, 02 Mar 2009GM are desperate to grab the headlines with the Ampera in Europe, and they’ve done a full reveal – pictures, video, the works, this afternoon, instead of waiting until tomorrow as was expected. Due to go on sale when is anybody’s guess. The Ampera offers a 50km range from electric charge only, and up to 500 km range when used in conjunction with the engine.
2012 Subaru Legacy and Outback are recalled for airbag fix
Wed, 15 Feb 2012Subaru is recalling 2012 Legacy and Outback vehicles to check for a possible faulty side-curtain airbag. In a crash, the airbags might not fully deploy because of an incorrect propellant mixture. Vehicles being recalled were built between Dec.
