Top Gear are in trouble with N. Ireland politicians over their stunts in Belfast Which with a show as popular as Top Gear – and popular all over the world, no less – that seems a pretty sensible reaction. But it would seem it’s not a universal reaction.

Matteo Conti has been appointed senior tutor at the Royal College of Art in the latest of a series of new appointments. Conti, who joins from Northumbria University, will take up his position on 1 May and be program manager for the first year course and be responsible for curriculum development and coordinating external projects. He will also contribute to the second year teaching and research activities.

Ford to shut up shop in Belgium in 2014

Ford has revealed plans to stop producing cars at its production facility in Genk, Belgium in 2014. Production will move to Spain and Germany. Finally, the inevitable is happening – Ford is moving to reduce its manufacturing capacity in Europe.
