Flashback: Pontiac killed on April 27, 2009
Wed, 27 Apr 2011It was precisely two years ago today--April 27, 2009--that Pontiac met its demise. Aston Martin drops Cygnet city car
Mon, 30 Sep 2013Autocar is reporting that the diminutive Aston Martin Cygnet has been dropped from the company’s portfolio. The Cygnet shared bones with the Toyota iQ city car and used a 97-hp, 1.3-liter engine and got 58.9 mpg using the U.S.

Driving through lovely, crumbly Turin, and out into the zona industriale towards Pininfaina's Cambiano base, the fear strikes: what if the car's a disappointment? What if it's simply some unremarkable supermini – maybe even an electric one?
