Sat, 05 Jul 2014Nico Rosberg (pictured) takes pole for 2014 British Grand Prix at Silverstone Nico Rosberg has taken pole position for tomorrow’s 2014 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, but team mate Lewis Hamilton made a complete mess of final qualifying and will start 6th in the race. Hamilton decided that his final run wasn’t quick enough and aborted it because he was a bit down in the first two sectors, but the rest of the track had dried out more, and if he’d carried on with his lap he would have almost certainly have taken pole. Behind Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel put his Red Bull in second place and McLaren’s Jenson Button took third followed by Nico Hulkenberg in the Force India and Kevin Magnussen in the second McLaren.

The competition is open to UK-based designers from all industries, and submissions should be emailed in the form of digital sketches or hand-drawn images. The deadline is 7 November, 2014.
