Mon, 09 Sep 2013The 2014 Facleift for the Dacia Duster in Europe (*pictured) has been revealed The UK hasn’t had the Dacia Duster for very long, mainly because it was selling so well in Europe Renault couldn’t manage to build right hand drive versions. And it looks like much the same scenario will play out with the Dacia Duster facelift – revealed today in full before Frankfurt – with it rolling out in Europe but with no immediate plans to bring it to the UK. At the beginning of April Dacia told us that they would be offering ‘Shockingly Affordable’ prices in the UK when the Dacia Brand – Renault’s budget offering – arrives in showrooms. Now we’re at ’75 Days to Launch’ according to Dacia (although that’s just the point when Dacia reveals prices for the Duster and Sandero – cars won’t arrive until January 2013) they’ve announced that you can pre-order a new Dacia with just £100 deposit.

Mon, 21 Dec 2009PSA Peugeot Citroen has announced the appointment of Gilles Vidal to Design Director for Peugeot and Thierry Metroz to fill the Design Director position at Citroën. Both Vidal and Metroz will report to PSA Group Design Director Jean-Pierre Ploué when they start their new roles on January 4, 2010. The Design Director positions at both Peugeot and Citroen have effectively been left vacant since Jean-Pierre Ploue was promoted to lead the Group's design efforts in October 2008.
