AA urges private parking regulation

PRIVATE LAND parking enforcers are "free to reap any and every parking infringement," despite recent legislation, according to the AA. Highlighting findings of the new Parking on Private Land Appeals (Popla) body, the AA said the requirements of the 2102 Protection of Freedoms Act were not always being observed. Popla's report for 2013/14 said some private parking operators were acting outside some statutory provisions of the Act in their pursuit of those who they think have offended.

Porsche has released details of the 2010 / 2011 Cayenne We wrote the story on the 2010/2011 Porsche Cayenne starting to leak out of Stuttgart this morning, and commented that now photos of the new Cayenne are starting to surface it wouldn’t be long before Porsche got the official details to us. Vauxhall Rake concept (2011) at Frankfurt motor show

Alongside the Astra GTC and Zafira Tourer, Vauxhall (and thus Opel) is unveiling something a little more ‘out there’ at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It’s this tiny city car, known by Vauxhall as RAK e, and which we’re going to call the Rake. The name is a modern take on the Rak 2, a rocket-powered Opel that hit 140mph in 1928.
