Up for auction is an almost new Magnuson supercharger for the 6.1 Hemi Jeep srt-8.
This unit was installed on my wife's Jeep approximately 8 - 10k miles ago........only removed because she wants to trade in for a new srt-8(yes... she is spoiled:)........The system performed flawlessly the entire time with no check engine light and no issues whatsoever ..... This is a COMPLETE KIT as shipped from Magnuson, including detailed instructions, tuner for reprogramming the PCM, stickers(I never used), etc.......The only thing you will need is two 1/4" dowl pins(explained in instructions)...I did not take these out as they are cheap and easy to find at almost any parts store. Who's Where: Karim Habib joins Mercedes-Benz
Tue, 17 Mar 2009Karim Habib, former Team Leader for Advanced Design at BMW, joined Mercedes-Benz earlier this month, becoming Head of Advanced Design at the German automaker's Stuttgart studio. Habib will work under newly appointed Mercedes-Benz Head of Design, Gorden Wagener. Habib, who celebrates his 38th birthday today, was born in Beirut, Lebanon and attended elementary school in Iran, France and Greece before moving to Montreal, Canada in 1982.
Carl-Peter Forster a candidate to lead Jaguar Land Rover
Mon, 25 Jan 2010Jaguar Land Rover is parting company with its chief executive, David Smith, potentially clearing the way for former Opel and BMW boss Carl-Peter Forster to take control. Forster has been linked with a senior role at Jaguar Land Rover for some months. Executives at Indian automaker Tata Motors, which bought the British brands from Ford in 2008, were rumored to have been taking soundings on whether Forster was the right man for job.
Spyker, Youngman plan to build Saab-based cars
Mon, 27 Aug 2012Dutch supercar maker Spyker says it will form two joint ventures with China's Zhejiang Youngman to produce Saab-based vehicles and a luxury SUV under the terms of a deal that will give Youngman a 29.9-percent share in Spyker. Youngman was one of the Chinese companies Spyker turned to for investment when it was trying to revive the Saab brand under its ownership. After failing to get approval for the sale from General Motors, a former Saab owner, the deal with Youngman collapsed and Saab was declared bankrupt in December 2011.
