Up for auction is an almost new Magnuson supercharger for the 6.1 Hemi Jeep srt-8.
This unit was installed on my wife's Jeep approximately 8 - 10k miles ago........only removed because she wants to trade in for a new srt-8(yes... she is spoiled:)........The system performed flawlessly the entire time with no check engine light and no issues whatsoever ..... This is a COMPLETE KIT as shipped from Magnuson, including detailed instructions, tuner for reprogramming the PCM, stickers(I never used), etc.......The only thing you will need is two 1/4" dowl pins(explained in instructions)...I did not take these out as they are cheap and easy to find at almost any parts store. Porsche 911 GT3s to be given new engines after fire issue
Tue, 18 Mar 2014The Porsche 911 GT3 (pictured) is getting a new engine Last month, after two new Porsche 911 GT3s caught fire, Porsche stopped delivering new 911 GT3s to owners, halted production and advised owners not to drive their new pride and joy. But now Porsche say they have discovered the cause of the issue and have a fix – a new engine. The fault that caused the fires is as simple as faulty connecting rod fasteners which damaged the crankcase, so Porsche is in the process of building new engines for all 785 GT3s already made with new connecting rod fasteners.

Sun, 13 Apr 2014The new engines for the Porsche 911 GT3 (pictured) start production this month The recall for the Porsche 911 GT3 after a couple of fires forced Porsche to evaluate the cause – and stop further production – now looks to have not only been resolved, but a fix is soon to be available. But Porsche is taking no chances with any sort of sticking plaster fix and is instead building new engines for the 911 GT3, with optimized piston rod screw connection – the cause of the problem – to make sure nothing goes wrong again. Porsche are planning to start production of the revised engine on 22nd April and will be despatching engines out to dealers shortly thereafter for them to fit to the affected cars.
