It is custom fabricated from solid, 11/16" diameter steel with a brilliant chrome finish on all the parts.  The top of this sissy bar is approximately 25" off the back fender. Peugeot is showing a wide spectrum of vehicles here at Frankfurt 2013, with the amazingly efficient 208 Hybrid FE Concept supermini here sitting alongside the practical and high quality 308 family hatchback and the racy, performance-focused 308 R Concept. If the French carmaker can turn the 208 Hybrid FE’s vital statistics from pie-in-the-sky prototype to production reality (and there’s no real reason why it couldn’t) it would surely be onto a winner.

Transportation Department clinics to test connected-vehicle communication

Usually communication between cars on the road consists of expletive-ridden road rage or “hey, your headlight’s out!” Thanks to new technology, the exchange of information could soon be far more productive. The U.S. Department of Transportation has announced that it will be holding Driver Acceptance Clinics in six cities across the country to assess how well drivers respond to vehicle-to-vehicle communication technology.

GM and Koenigsegg agree Saab sale

That's the deal. Supercar maker Koenigsegg Automotive, together with a consortium of private investors, has formed Koenigsegg Group, which has reached a ‘tentative agreement’ to buy Saab from GM.
