Lexus teases Frankfurt SUV concept (2013)

Clearly set to employ the sharp-creased design and huge ‘spindle grille’ cues from the current Lexus range – not to mention the LF-LC coupe concept – Lexus is nevertheless staying tight-lipped on details of its new model. We’ll see the car revealed completely in early September.

The McLaren 12C GT Sprint will cost around £200,000 and be limited to an initial batch of 20 models finished in McLaren Orange as standard. The special edition bridges the gap between the regular version of the road-going 12C and the GT3 and Can-Am racing models, and has been developed by McLaren GT, the racing arm of the company. Laurenz Schaffer Appointed President of BMW Group’s DesignworksUSA

There's a game of musical chairs being played at DesignworksUSA, the BMW Group's design consultancy subsidiary. Starting December 1 this year, two key executives will be taking on new roles within the design consultancy, while the company's current President will be moving on to a new position within BMW Group Design. The first appointment is that of Laurenz Schaffer, currently Director of the Munich studio of BMW Group DesignworksUSA.
