Factory ORIGINAL service manual set of 4 books, providing detailed service procedures as used in the dealership service area.  Applicable to Chevrolet or GMC C/K trucks for Chevrolet Silverado, and GMC Sierra/Denali.

Volumes 2/3/4 are as new.  Volume 1 was loose at the top of the shipping box, and has very light finger smudges on the RH page edge and also minor creases in both the upper & lower RH corners, so I believe someone took volume one out of the shipping box and looked it over a bit..

I note this set currently on ebay at  $560.  Price from Helm (GM's printer) is $475 + expensive shipping and sales tax in your state.  My price will be less, with free shipping, and no sales tax (except in Minnesoda, ya know).

I make every effort to ship same-day via USPS MEDIA mail, and take care in packing, as I would want you to do if you were shipping to me.

Who would like this useful manual set?  YOU would?, well then, let's hear from you...

48 state continental USA bidders only on this set, as it will not fit into a priority box, ships at 28 pounds.

KoenigSaab coming soon?

Fri, 29 May 2009

Koenigsegg are in the running to take over Saab Saab were given Swedish Government protection recently (similar to Chapter 11) to try and find a suitor or funding to operate independently. Of course they can’t do that completely, at least not in the short term, as they are so tied in to GM’s platforms on their current and soon to be released cars. But Saab has a strong – if quirky – history and, with the right backing, could stand alone as a niche maker of aesthetically individual cars.

Porsche 918 Spyder to get 4.6 litre V8 The Porsche 918 Spyder is to get a 4.6 litre V8 and lose one of its electric motors when it launches after a Frankfurt 2013 debut. It’s almost two years since theĀ PorscheĀ 918 Spyder debuted at the Geneva Motor show as a potential 21st century eco-replacement for the Carrera GT. The amount of interest shown – and offers of deposits – persuaded Porsche to confirm the 918 Spyder for production last March, but it’s still more than eighteen months away from arriving on the road.

ONE IN SIX (17%) of drivers admits to driving at more than 100mph on the motorway regularly in the UK, even though the speed limit is 70mph. More than twice that number (38%) own up to driving at above 90mph, while 11% say they speed at 50mph or more in residential and urban areas where there is a 30mph speed limit. Research by Direct Line shows 61% of drivers have also exceeded the 20mph limit.
