Volkswagen Scirocco Million celebrates a million Sciroccos – but not for the UK
Fri, 03 May 2013A million sales of a particular model of a car is something to celebrate, so Volkswagen is building a special edition Scirocco – the Scirocco Million ()catchy little name) – to celebrate the event. But it’s not exactly a world wide celebration. Williams & Renault back together in F1
Tue, 05 Jul 2011Williams Renault F1 - Sir Frank Williams and Renaultsport's Bernard Rey For those of us who enjoy F1 (on the whole – although races like Canada rather than Valencia, it as to be said) but are very slightly past the first flush of youth, it’s rather sad to see Williams languishing in the ranks of also-rans on this year’s grid. With one of the greatest race-brains in Sir Frank Williams, and still one of the best F1 drivers in Rubens Barrichello, it would be great to see Williams at least running with the second tier of cars. But this season so far they have amassed just 4 points.
Holden will sell cars in Australia beyond 2017

The General Motors subsidiary was cagey when it came to details, claiming that the brand would remain a presence in Australia -- even maintaining its design office there. Oddly, we couldn't get anyone to say, in black-and-white terms, what vehicles would be sold there under the Holden name after its plants close.
