Bentley Hybrid setup works across Bentley’s range of engines
Mon, 28 Apr 2014You’ll be able to have a hybrid powertrain across Bentley’s range of engines With car makers increasingly hidebound by ever more stringent economy targets, even makers of the world’s most expensive, luxury cars are having to play ball. Which explains why Bentley has decided to go the hybrid route for their cars, with the debut of the Bentley Hybrid, a Mulsanne with the 6¾ litre V8 under the bonnet aided by an electric motor and a bank of batteries, at the Beijing Motor Show. Aston Martin DBS Volante set for Geneva debut
Tue, 24 Feb 2009Aston Martin will take the wraps off its fastest-ever production convertible at the Geneva motor show when the muscular 2010 DBS Volante makes its global debut. The soft-top version of Aston's beefy DBS will top 191 mph, the company says, and sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 4.3 seconds, figures that put the DBS Volante in the top echelon of open-top supercars. The development of only the 16th convertible in Aston's 95-year history has been eased by dipping into the parts bin.
Honda Passport recalled for suspension fix
Fri, 17 Dec 2010Honda will recall 35,984 copies of the Passport SUV from the 1998 to 2002 model years in the United States for a suspension piece damaged by road-salt corrosion. The lower suspension link could become corroded in areas where road salt is used extensively. Honda says the lower link bracket could detach from the frame, which would affect handling and increase the risk of a crash.
