Be quick to grab a pair of tickets for the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the highlight of the year for petrolheads from around the world, with a mix of the very best supercars, classic cars and all things related gathering at Goodwood for a three day celebration (well, four if you count the Moving Motor Show tomorrow). Toyota's FT-86 concept has had much fascination and speculation attached to it since its original show debut at the 2009 Tokyo motor show. Geneva saw the much anticipated RWD coupe receive a mild make over and feature several updates for 2011. The FT-86 II has been developed in conjunction with Subaru, who also previewed their vision of the same brief...albeit somewhat further from production specification than the Toyota.

DRIVERS are against the idea of a blanket 20mph speed limit on urban roads but are open to their targeted use, according to research published today by road safety charity, Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). Half of drivers from the UK are against a blanket 20mph speed limit with less than a third willing to embrace the idea and a fifth undecided. Male drivers are more likely to be against the idea than female.
