Concept Car of the Week: Toyota EX-1 (1969)

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

Back in the 60s, Toyota launched a few iconic sports cars such as the 800 and the gorgeous 2000 GT. Not happy to have created automotive perfection with the latter, the Japanese brand went on to explore even more extravagant shapes and unveiled the first of the EX concepts series in 1969. Infiniti Emerg-E concept

Tue, 28 Feb 2012

Infiniti's third recent concept car, the Emerg-E, will debut at the Geneva motor show next week. Following the Essence of 2009 and last year's Etherea, the Emerg-E is the brand's first mid-engined car design. While the proportions of all three cars are very different (thanks to the Essence's front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout and the front-engined, front-wheel drive Etherea), their form language is shared.
