Aston Martin Cygnet & Colette (2011) first official pictures

Aston Martin have teamed up with French fashion retailer Colette to produce the Aston Martin Cygnet & Colette. It's a 14 unit limited edition produced through the Aston Martin Works Tailored customisation programme, and available through Colette's Paris store. Aston Martin Cygnet & Colette: the fashionista's Aston Martin Colette (it's supposed to be lower-case, like Audi's spelling of Quattro) stylists have left the unfashionable mechanical parts alone and concentrated on the colour and trim selection on the Cygnet. Free Regent Street Motor Show to showcase past, present and future

A GLORIOUS MIX of old and new will descend on the capital in early November as the Regent Street Motor Show returns. On Saturday 2nd November Regent Street closes to traffic from Piccadilly Circus to Oxford Circus, allowing over 300 cars to go on display in a free show for the public. The display will include as many as 100 pre-1905 veteran vehicles which will compete in the EFG International Concours d’Elegance and then take on the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run the following day - the oldest competitive driving event in the world.

New Porsche 911 Speedster reportedly in the works

When European-car importer Max Hoffman suggested to Porsche that the American audience might like a cheaper, open-top version of the company's 356, Stuttgart responded with the Speedster. And while every Porsche partisan is a special snowflake -- some love road-going racers like the 904, others can't imagine life without a roof-rack-equipped 912, others go gaga for anything with a legit, lift-off Targa top, and some folks just really, really, really love 924s -- the Speedster's the light, lovable kid brother for which any fan of the marque has a measure of affection. Porsche knows it, and as such, they've introduced limited Speedster models of every 911 series since the 3.2 Carrera -- except for the oft-maligned 996 (which is still loved by its proponents, IMS-bearing issues aside).
