Description

Rough Country leveling kits are a great way to get extra tire clearance and a more aggressive look on your truck without the expense of full suspension lift kits. Most trucks come from the factory with a "raked" or nose-down appearance. A leveling kit only lifts the front end up, thus the name. The rear of most pickups has enough clearance to put a larger tire without lifting it. Leveling kits are relatively simple to install for most mechanics and do-it-yourselfers. You will need to have your alignment adjusted after installation and some kits may require slight fender modifications to clear more aggressive tires.

Renault Fluence Z.E.

Tue, 18 Oct 2011

Honoring its 2009 Frankfurt motor show pledge to offer EV's by 2012, Renault has announced the Fluence Z.E., which will soon be offered alongside its conventionally-powered sibling. In making its transition to EV, the Fluence has undergone several changes; the most obvious being the battery pack which dictated an increase in the car's overall length. The extended rear quarter panels, which equate to the 130mm growth, add a sizeable visual weight to the rear of the car.

Fireworks man cleared over M5 crash

Tue, 10 Dec 2013

A FIREWORKS CONTRACTOR in charge of a display held on the night of a massive motorway crash in which seven people died and 51 were injured has been cleared of breaching health and safety laws. A judge directed a jury at Bristol Crown Court to find Geoffrey Counsell, 51, not guilty of a single charge of failing to ensure the safety of others contrary to the Health and Safety at Work Act. The charge alleged that Mr Counsell, of Ashill in Somerset, failed to ensure he operated the firework display so as to ensure, as far as was reasonably practicable, that others who might be affected were not exposed to risks to their health and safety.

Used cars 'getting cheaper'

CONSUMERS holding on to their motor for longer are driving down the cost of used cars, according to new research. The average price for a second-hand car in July-September 2011 was £8,870 - a 2.4% decline compared with the same period a year ago, according to the Auto Trader company. It is the first time the price has dipped below £9,000 since the company started tracking the market in January 2010.
