2008 Harley Davidson Twin Cam  "A" motor, 4.375" stroke, flywheel assembly, serial #DGD185.  Assembly has been disassembled, inspected, blueprinted, new connecting rod bearings fitted to micro-honed rods and new connecting pin, reassembled, trued, plugged and welded to prevent scissoring and high TIR troubles.  Pinion shaft TIR .0015" at main bearing diameter, .001" at the cam plate bushing diameter, sprocket shaft .001" at the main bearing diameter, when measured over "V" blocks.  Assembly in very good condition.  Stroke is 4.375", fits all 2007 thru 2013 Touring/Dyna Twin Cams.  Can be used with 2006 Dyna if pistons are replaced with stroker style.  Zero miles since remanufacture.  Two year limited warranty from remanufacturer on work performed.  Includes inspection data summary and statement of warranty.  Buy from a registered dealer, who will stand in front and behind the sale. Bidders outside of USA must contact seller prior to bidding for shipping information.

A TYRE that was completely bald after being taken off a high-performance BMW has sparked warnings from tyre safety charity TyreSafe. The shocking pictures of the incredibly dangerous tyre, whose owner is lucky to be alive, show the extent of the lengths to which some people are pushing the limits of safety. As it is, the tyre would be almost completely ineffective in wet or damp conditions, and how the driver had avoided an accident is a mystery.

Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 deliveries halted

Hot business over on the forums today: According to GM Inside News, Chevrolet apparently has stopped delivery of the Camaro ZL1 because of an undisclosed issue. The whacking, thwacking, lumberjacking-and-it's-OK pony cars sent to dealers and--according to one poster--delivered to at least one customer are being hauled in for a once-over because of an unspecified possible issue with the potent machines. According to Monte Doran, communications manager for Corvette and Camaro, "We go through a standard quality assessment with every new vehicle and we found what we thought was a potential concern.

GM considers CVTs for small cars

General Motors Co., aiming to give its small cars a sales edge, may introduce continuously variable transmissions to deliver better fuel economy, executives say. GM doesn't use CVTs now. But they could be used on models such as the Chevrolet Spark, Aveo and Cruze in the next three years, said Mike Arcamone, CEO of GM Daewoo Auto & Technology.
