Manufacturers' wheel offset and backspacing measurement points are not always consistent. Backspacing greatly impacts tire-to-fender clearance when turning. (5 being the most complicated.) Product OverviewSuperlift worked behind the scenes with OE Engineers to develop these lifted coil springs. The result is the best ride and handling characteristics of any 4” lift coil available. They’re pre-set to minimize settling and guarantee a consistent ride height. This Superlift kit also includes an adjustable front track bar with forged ends and Superlift’s Lifetime Warranted REFLEX bushings. The adjustable length allows you to fine tune the suspension given winch bumper combinations etc. and the bushings are a dual durometer design built to handle extreme angles and greatly reduce NVH over standard poly bushings or heim-joint ends. Included for the rear is a frame mounted track bar relocation bracket. This kit also includes replacement rear sway bar links, adjustable cam-bolts, brake line extension brackets and Superlift Superide shock absorbers. Options include: front and rear REFLEX Control Arms, front sway bar quick disconnects, rear REFLEX adjustable track bar, and factory replacement, high-clearance single or high-clearance dual steering stabilizers. Each stabilizer design is available with Superlift Superide or SS series cylinders by Bilstein. Hyundai PassoCorto coming to Geneva
Fri, 21 Feb 2014Hot on the tailpipes of the Kia GT4 Stinger's debut in Detroit comes word of an even racier-looking two-seater from parent company Hyundai – the PassoCorto. Built by and for Gen Y car enthusiasts, the PassoCorto was styled by 16 students in the Master's program of transportation design at the Istituto Europeo Design (IED) in Turin. The students were tasked by Hyundai Design Center Europe with making “…the car that would be on top of their list for buying and driving.” We don't know any Gen Ys who could fork over close to $60,000 for a car, the cost of the similarly-sized Alfa 4C, but we know plenty who would like to have one.

It took more than two years for BMW to catch up with our story on the triple-turbo diesel, but we finally had BMW man Brian Watts confirming the new diesel, but that it would turn up as the M550d.
