Range Rover Sport ploughs into basement flat

This supercharged Range Rover Sport found itself stuck between a brick and a hard place when it crashed into a basement flat in Fitzrovia, central London. The driver, who was unhurt in this week's accident, unintentionally tested the Range Rover's off-road credentials in a freak incident, which left the 2.5-tonne SUV stuck between a house wall and some railings in the posh London street. 2014 Lotus Elise - will get new 4-pot Lotus engine It seems that Lotus are deadly serious in their plans to build an all new V8 engine to drop in to the new Lotus Esprit, and it also seems as though the Lotus engine revival isn’t going to end there. The headline act is an all new modular Lotus V8 of 4.8 litres and boasting 562bhp. This is planned for the new Esprit, which is the only one of the crop of Lotus concepts actually under development, and will be ready to fire up in just a couple of months.

John Lennon's Ferrari won't be sold

The John Lennon Ferrari, a blue 1965 "Quad Headlight" 330 GT 2+2, reported as serial number 06781GT, will not be offered for sale on Saturday as scheduled. Citing a case of "vendor's remorse," a Bonhams representative said this was a last-minute decision on the part of the seller. Lennon's Ferrari had garnered a good bit of publicity in the past few weeks.
