Jaguar C-X75 reveal LIVE on Cars UK

Wed, 29 Sep 2010

The Jaguar C-X75 will get the family nose On Sunday we reported that Jaguar would be taking a surprise concept along to Paris – the Jaguar C-X75 Concept – which is said to point the way to the future of Jaguar design. THE LEAST WELL-OFF families are slipping further into "transport poverty", according to an RAC Foundation survey. The poorest car-owning households spent at least 31% of their disposable incomes on buying and running a vehicle in 2012, the foundation said, up from 27% the year before. The figures, based on data obtained from the Office for National Statistics, showed that in 2012 the poorest families had a maximum weekly expenditure of £167, of which £51.40 went on a car.

JLR launches UK recruitment campaign

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

JAGUAR Land Rover has begun a campaign to recruit hundreds of new workers at its Engine Manufacturing Centre near Wolverhampton. Phase one of the overall plan will see 600 new employees join the company over the next four years, with the long-term aim being to recruit 1,400 extra staff members. The first 600 workers will be employed on the manufacturing line itself, producing parts for complex new engines destined to power cars like the Range Rover Evoque and the Jaguar F-Type.
