The Audi TT GT4 concept, based on the production TT, got its first shakedown at DTM season finale race in Shanghai at the weekend, with five-time Le Mans winner Frank Biela at the wheel. This TT is the work of the Technical Development and the Production divisions of the German firm's Quattro division.

Just 499 will be built. And if you want to invest money in a new Ferrari, the 458 Speciale A will be a good shout; with just 499 being built (just like LaFerrari) it’s almost certain these rare 458s will appreciate in the coming years – just like the 599 Aperta has (although there were even fewer of those).
For new CAFE rules, automakers place high-stakes tech bets

Not only do federal rules target a 2015 fleet average of 35.5 mpg, up from the current 27.5 mpg for cars and 23.1 mpg for light trucks; they force automakers to bet on different technology packages for each vehicle segment. Companies that do best at mixing technologies while keeping down costs will have an advantage when buyers wince at higher stickers.
