It already had a great set of products – seriously under-rated in many cases – and the recent additions of the Ford KA, The Ford Fiesta and the Ford Kuga has added even more credibility to its lineup. But Ford isn’t standing still, and has previewed the next generation Ford Focus – the Iosis MAX Concept – at the Geneva Motor Show 2009.

Is there room for another? Apparently so, but since there’s no official name for it yet we’ll call it ‘super-downsizing’ or in other words, using a very small engine in a not so small car.

Thu, 01 Aug 2013Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse (pictured) will debut at Frankfurt We did think Lamborghini had come to the end of the road with the Gallardo ahead of an all new Gallardo arriving in 2014, but they have one more trick up their sleeves to milk the last drop out of the most successful car in Lamborghini’s history – the Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse. The Squadra Corse is, in effect, a road-going version of the tgrack Super Trofeo – as was the Blancpain and the Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale – but this looks certain to be the last of the Gallardos. The Squadra Corse gets plenty of input from the Super Trofeo, with a carbon fibre rear wing, carbon ceramic brakes and a carbon fibre, removable, engine cover.
